Elite's CS series has a friendly graphical interface with an expandable SDK, and it supports Python, Java, C++, C# and ROS. Fairino's model is licence free, with free updates for life, and its SDKs for Python, C++, C# and ROS/ROS2 are published on GitHub. The controller can be scripted in Lua. Neither locks you in hard. - If ingress protection is critical, think washdown, dust or cleanroom, then Elite's standard IP65 and IP68 upgrade and the ISO 5 cleanroom rating are a real advantage. Fairino offers IP65 as an option.
