P29.5 Cobot Palletizer: plug and play palletizing for €29,500
Ten years ago a palletizer easily cost €60,000 to €100,000, plus weeks of engineering on site. The P29.5 does the job for €29,500 excl. VAT, ex works, and your own team gets it running in a few hours.
We build it ourselves at TMC Robotics in Ieper, Belgium, around the Fairino FR20 collaborative robot. The palletizing software is written in house too. So when you call us with a question, you talk to the people who wrote it.
How it works
Your conveyor or your operator brings boxes to a fixed pick position. The FR20 picks them up with a vacuum gripper and stacks them on one or two euro pallets, each with its own stacking pattern. When a pallet is full, you get a message on the screen. You swap it while production keeps going: the unit pauses as soon as you step into the safety zone and carries on by itself when you walk out. Confirm the new pallet on the touchscreen and that's it.

Two pallets, one robot
There's a pallet position on each side of the frame. Both have stainless steel L stops, so every pallet lands in exactly the same spot. You can send one product to both pallets, or give each pallet its own pick position and its own pattern. That way you palletize two different box sizes at the same time. Changing a full pallet happens during production, so you don't have to stop anything.
Safe without a fence
Three safety scanners keep an eye on the area around the unit. If someone gets too close, the robot stops. Once the zone is clear again, it picks up where it left off. No fencing, no gates, no reset button to look for. The unit is CE compliant.
A grip you can trust
The gripper uses suction cups with a built in venturi vacuum generator. A digital vacuum sensor checks every single box. If the vacuum drops while the robot is moving, the unit stops right away, so a box never falls without you knowing about it.
It works best on clean, flat boxes with an even top and no creases. The box needs to be at least as big as the gripper surface.
Software made by TMC
Everything runs on a Windows industrial PC (Intel i5) with a 17 inch touchscreen. You don't need to be a robot programmer. A wizard builds the stacking sequence for you, and auto fill packs as many boxes on the pallet as possible.
- Own stacking pattern per pallet
- Alternating layers for a stable stack
- Label positioning, so your labels always face outward
- Unlimited number of stored programs
- Clear messages on the screen when something needs your attention
- Remote support during business hours
Truly plug and play
Plug it into a normal 230 V socket, connect dry compressed air at 6 bar and you're ready. The frame stands on height adjustable feet, so nothing gets drilled into your floor. When your layout changes, just move it with a forklift or a pallet truck.
Hooking it up to your line is simple too. There are 10 inputs with M8 3 pin connectors for product present sensors, interlocks and the like. You choose what each input does on the screen.
You install and start the P29.5 yourself. A manual and training videos are included, and if you get stuck, we help you remotely during business hours.
Fits through every door
For transport, the stainless steel pallet stops come off and go onto the base frame. The whole unit then fits on one euro pallet and is about 2 m high. We ship it across Europe from Belgium. Transport is quoted separately.
What you need to provide
- The infeed of your boxes to the pick position (a conveyor, a roller track or an operator)
- A 230 V socket
- Dry compressed air at 6 bar
- Empty 800 x 1200 mm pallets
Is the P29.5 a fit for you?
New to cobot palletizing? Our cobot palletizing guide explains what to look out for. The P29.5 is made for end of line palletizing of boxes up to 20 kg, at up to 5 to 6 boxes per minute, with one box type per pick position. The unit described here is our standard. Need slip sheets between the layers or another variation? We can build that. Got a different pallet size, heavier products, bags or a higher speed? Get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether the P29.5 works for you or whether you need a custom cell. Ready to go? Add it to your cart and request an official quotation.
