The Safety Laser Scanner is designed to provide reliable non-contact safeguarding around robotic cells, mobile equipment, and industrial automation systems.
Its wide 270° detection angle allows a single scanner to monitor a large part of the surrounding area. The scanner supports a safety protection field of up to 5 m and a non-safety warning field of up to 20 m, making it suitable for personnel protection, access monitoring, speed reduction zones, and mobile robot navigation safety.
Up to 128 configurable field patterns can be created and switched depending on the operating condition of the machine or robot. This makes it possible to use different protection fields for robot movement, manual loading, reduced-speed operation, AMR travel paths, or restricted areas.
The scanner includes functions intended to improve practical use in industrial environments, including configurable protection patterns, scan-skip functionality to reduce unwanted detections, and master/slave capability for larger or more complex safety layouts.
It is suitable for applications where physical guarding is impractical or where a flexible safety field is required around cobots, AGVs, AMRs, machine tending stations, palletizing cells, and automated production equipment.
