The Pneumatic Quick Tool Changer is designed to enable rapid and secure tool changes in robotic automation systems. Suitable for Fairino cobots and other industrial robots, this system allows a single robot to automatically switch between multiple grippers, vacuum tools, and custom end effectors.
The changer is pneumatically actuated and features an automatic mechanical locking mechanism. Once locked, the connection remains mechanically secured even if compressed air is lost, preventing accidental tool release and ensuring maximum operational safety.
The system supports payloads up to 10 kg and includes six pneumatic pass-through channels for compressed air as well as thirteen electrical contacts for power and signal transmission. Pneumatic channels are automatically sealed when disconnected, preventing air leakage and contamination.
A mounting adapter plate for Fairino cobots is included, enabling straightforward integration. The external pneumatic valve required to actuate the locking mechanism is not included and must be supplied separately.
The product is available as a complete set consisting of one robot side and three tool sides, or as individual robot-side and tool-side components.
