Communication Card

The Profinet version supports Profinet, EtherNet/IP and CC-Link, which covers Siemens, Rockwell / Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi environments. The EtherCAT version supports EtherCAT for high-speed, tightly synchronised automation. You choose the interface when ordering.

The Profinet card (FRJ-PCIeN-PN-RJ-V10) is the best fit for most PLC environments and also speaks EtherNet/IP and CC-Link. The EtherCAT card (FRH-PCIeN-EC-RJ-V10) is aimed at high-speed, deterministic lines where the cobot must stay tightly synchronised with other axes and drives.

The card is fitted inside the Fairino controller, the mini control cabinet. Once installed, the cobot appears as a node on your industrial network and can be controlled from the line PLC.

The card works with the Fairino cobot series through the Fairino controller. The Profinet card uses the FRJ controller generation and the EtherCAT card the FRH generation. If you are unsure which one fits your setup, contact us with your controller type.

Yes. The card is built for PLC-based motion control over the industrial fieldbus, so the cobot can be commanded and monitored directly by the line PLC in real time.
